Trump Secures Release of 6 Americans from Venezuela as Maduro Accepts Deportees

Former President Donald Trump celebrated the release of six American hostages from Venezuelan prisons as part of a deal in which Nicolás Maduro agreed to accept deported Venezuelan migrants from the U.S. White House envoy Richard Grenell, who brokered the negotiations, flew back with the freed Americans, marking the first high-level U.S. visit to Venezuela since 2019, after previous efforts under the Biden administration had failed.
