D.C. Mayor Report Targets Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial for Removal, Relocation or 'Contextualization'
On Tuesday the White House criticized the mayor of Washington, D.C., for a new report that recommends the federal government consider removing or relocating monuments such as the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument.
