Are You Simple or Prudent?

“How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge.” Proverbs 1:22
Who are the simple in this verse? The word simple here comes from a root word that means “open.” This person is just open to everything—easily led. We might also call this person gullible.
