Bobby Gruenewald is the founder and CEO of YouVersion and a pastor at Life. Church, where he leads innovation initiatives that merge technology with ministry. A former tech entrepreneur, Gruenewald helped launch the YouVersion Bible App in 2008 — one of the first 200 free apps in Apple’s App Store — which has since grown into a global platform with more than 900 million installs. Gruenewald says the world is hungry for God’s Word, as evidenced by record usage of YouVersion this year.
