Woman Who Aborted Her Baby Due to a Faulty Prenatal Test Sues, and Wins
An Irish woman decided to have an abortion after prenatal testing showed that her unborn child had a chromosomal abnormality called Trisomy 18. Testing following the abortion showed that prenatal tests were incorrect. The woman sued the hospital involved in the incident for the “wrongful termination” of her pregnancy and recently won in court.
