Trump Pushes to Relocate Palestinians and Revamp Gaza under U.S. Control

During a White House press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Donald Trump proposed that the U.S. “take over” Gaza and resettle Palestinians outside the war-torn enclave, envisioning a redevelopment project called “the Riviera of the Middle East.” While Trump argued the plan would provide safety and stability, U.S. allies like Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia strongly rejected the idea, warning it would destabilize the region and undermine efforts for a two-state solution.
