Southern Baptist Leaders Reignite Debate over Permanent Female Pastor Ban

A group of Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) pastors is urging the denomination to reconsider the failed Law Amendment, which would permanently prohibit women from serving as pastors in SBC-affiliated churches. In an open letter, they call for a vote at the upcoming SBC Annual Meeting in June, bypassing the Executive Committee to expedite the process, while opponents argue the measure is unnecessary and divisive.
