Pope Francis Returns to Vatican to Begin Long Recovery
Pope Francis has been discharged from Rome’s Gemelli Hospital after a five-week stay due to a severe respiratory infection, marking one of the most serious health events of his papacy. While continuing his recovery at the Vatican, the Pope expressed gratitude for ongoing prayers and called for peace in global conflicts, including Gaza and the South Caucasus.
