Netanyahu Declares ‘Axis of Terror’ Is Crumbling after Oct. 7 Mastermind Killed in Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Joe Biden are hopeful that the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar signals the start of Gaza’s war winding down. Netanyahu called Sinwar, the mastermind behind the deadly Oct. 7 attack, “an obstacle” now removed, while Biden compared his death to Osama bin Laden’s, saying it opens the door for peace and a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians.
