Karen Kingsbury’s Angels Walking series was inspired by what she believes was a real-life angelic encounter when a mysterious police officer appeared during her father’s medical crisis, prayed with her family, and then seemingly vanished without a trace. Kingsbury shared this powerful experience while promoting her new film Someone Like You, now streaming on Great American Pure Flix and set to debut on Great American Family on Feb. 22.
