John MacArthur Says He’s on the ‘Last Lap’ of Life but Hopes to Preach Again Soon
Pastor and author John MacArthur, 85, told attendees of the Shepherds Conference via video that although he is on the “last lap” of his life and recovering from a long hospital stay that weakened him, he feels “great” and hopes to return to the pulpit soon. MacArthur expressed gratitude for God’s faithfulness throughout his ministry and shared his deep disappointment at not attending the conference in person.
