Pastor Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church is the executive producer of Mary, a Biblical epic premiering on Netflix December 6th, just in time for the Christmas season. Directed by D.J. Caruso and starring Israeli actors Noa Cohen and Ido Tako alongside Anthony Hopkins, the film offers a fresh retelling of Jesus’ early years through Mary’s perspective. Produced by Mary Aloe, the project aimed to inspire audiences of all ages with an authentic, faith-driven narrative, developed with input from religious leaders and refined through 74 script drafts.
