Hurricane Laura, a category 4 hurricane and potentially the strongest to hit Louisiana, made landfall Thursday. The storm has left parts of Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas devastated. However, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards says it was not the “absolute, catastrophic” damage they were anticipating.
