Following Pleas from Evangelical Groups, Tennessee Governor Agrees to Participate in Federal Refugee Resettlement Program
In a December 18 letter to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Tennessee’s Republican Gov. Bill Lee thanked the Trump Administration for a Sept. 26 executive order that would require consent from state governors before forcing a federal refugee settlement program on the state.
