Biden Pledges to End Trump's Religious Protections against Abortion/Contraceptive Mandate
Following the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Trump administration’s policy exempting employers with religious and moral objections from the abortion/contraceptive mandate, Democratic Presidential hopeful Joe Biden said in a statement on Wednesday that if elected he would “restore the Obama-Biden policy that existed” during the Obama administration: “providing an exemption for houses of worship and an accommodation for nonprofit organizations with religious missions.”
