Biden Nominates Transgender Woman for HHS Assistant Secretary in Historic First
On Tuesday, President-elect Joe Biden on nominated Rachel Levine for assistant secretary of health at the Department of Health and Human Services. If confirmed, Levine will eye the first openly transgender individual confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
