Pope Francis Accepts Resignation of Cardinal Named in Vatican Financial Scandals
On Thursday, Pope Francis reportedly accepted high-ranking-prelate Cardinal Angelo Becciu’s resignation from his role as the head of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Causes of Saints. The Pope also striped Becciu of the rights of his cardinal title.
