World Leaders Attend Pope Francis' Funeral in St. Peter's Square
World leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump and U.K. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, gathered with over 200,000 mourners at St. Peter’s Square for the funeral of Pope Francis, who passed away at 88. Following his death, preparations are underway for the conclave to elect his successor, set to begin May 7, 2025, at the Vatican.
