First Baptist Dallas Sets Bold Plans to Restore Sanctuary after Devastating Fire

First Baptist Dallas has unveiled plans to rebuild its historic sanctuary, which was destroyed by a fire in July, with a vision to honor its past while embracing the future. Executive Pastor Jeff Lovvorn shared the church’s commitment to preserving the original exterior walls and adding a larger steeple, restored stained glass, and modern amenities. With construction set to begin in January 2025, the church launched its ambitious $95 million Mission 18 campaign, inviting the community to participate in shaping this new chapter for God’s glory.
