At Least Three Critical Race Theory Statements Proposed for Southern Baptist Meeting
On Wednesday, two Southern Baptist pastors, Tom Ascol of Florida and Tom Buck of Texas, called on delegates to rescind Resolution 9. Passed in 2019, Resolution 9 allows for Critical Race Theory to be used as an analytical tool but also stated that it should be subordinate to Scripture.
